Mize – Winner of Front Runners Competition & Summit at WTM London

Technology is what makes the travel industry constantly evolve. This is what WTM London and Travel Forward highlight, ensuring to connect businesses in this vertical with startups that deliver innovative solutions.

WTM 2021 went under the “Reconnect. Rebuild. Innovate” slogan as the first face-to-face event after the COVID-19 breakout. Travel Forward was the leading travel technology show during this year’s WTM. It brings the travel tech community together and enables all parties to see new technologies with the potential to help bring the industry back on its feet.

Mize wasn’t only at WTM 2021, but we also participated in the Front Runners Competition. Here is a short report about how it went down.

What is the Front Runners Competition?

Being a travel tech company, here at Mize, we took the Front Runners competition seriously. The competition promotes solutions that can help the travel industry worldwide and can make a difference for many travel industry players. Front Runners Travel tech competition is a great initiative not only for startups but also for big corporations looking to optimize their businesses thanks to  WTM London, Travel Forward, and World Tourism Forum Lucerne. 

The competition’s goal is to find and support travel tech startups and companies who have the power to spark innovation in the industry, drive change, and deliver easy-to-use sustainable solutions to facilitate the growth of the travel sector. The event enables startups to compete in several categories like Smart Mobility, Hospitality of the Future, and Experiences Revolution.

Mize Selected a Winner of the Hospitality of the Future Category

Mize entered the Front Runners competition. Given that we continuously leverage cutting-edge technologies to deliver revenue-boosting solutions to the travel sector, we had high hopes for our placement. On the 4th of November, Mize was selected as the winner of the Hospitality of the Future category of the Front Runners Competition 2021.

We’ve also taken an active part in this year’s WTM onsite edition meeting business owners worldwide. In addition, we were also available as virtual exhibitors from 8th to 10th November.
